We too need to have verion 1.0.0 to be right configured for Gentoo in the 
/script/init.gentoo file where the path line is wrong and not working right
init.gentoo script path line should be this:
PATH=${PATH}:${MBSE_ROOT}/bin

The line as it is now is wrong and not working.
