Right, 1st things first. 1. Install home brew 2. install the source (you seem to have done that :) 3. load up 2 ternimals and in one go to the directory containing the mbse source having unzip'd/tar'd it. 4. On one terminal run less SETUP.sh 5. on other term follow the instruction that relate to autorun [bash SETUP.sh ] - which fails on mine (El Capitan) but does install the services into /etc/services - so useful for something. 6. Reading the SETUP (via 4) and using user & group set up set up first A. the bbs group B. the mbse user noting the details of set up via (4). You will need to go into user set up twice (Advanced) to change group from staff to bbs. Now following the instuctions in INSTALL and compile the package. If you have any missing elements install them via home brew e.g., brew install packagename using a terminal. That will do it for a wee while - I will look at continuing the install tomorrow and I seem to have hit a snag with wrong targets in the compile so must have a wrong setting somewhere.
