It's easier to think about it as:
Someone paid for her to go to college, who lowered the standards because she's
black.  Then people "greased the skids" to get her a degree and jobs (that she
didn't actually do).  All to get her "cred" as a "high powered" lawyer.

The purpose: To get a bot in a position of power to do the will of her masters.
