They didn't just taint the system.  Maybe 20 years ago, I would have put it
that way, but not today.  Today I can see that they have been trying to turn it

The old-guard Democrats didn't want to destroy the system.  They simply wanted
to control it and leech off it.  The new Democrats want to destroy the system
and rebuild it according to their Narrative (so it won't work).
