The US has approved a massive arms sale to Taiwan. It involves a purchase of $11.15 billion worth of weapons.

This purchase poses an additional problem for Ukraine, because the US prefers to sell to Taiwan rather than to Ukraine/Europe. This is entirely due to Trump's personal preferences.

In Trump's view, China is the future enemy and Russia the future ally of the US.

That is what Trump is working on.

Taiwan also urgently needs the weapons. China has announced that it wants to control the island by 2027.

So Taiwan must prepare quickly.
