    I run OSX with Little Snitch, which is a pretty epic personal firewall. 
But I allow/deny every single outbound connect on a per process basis...  I
wish there was something like that for Windows.

    I don't mind Win7, but the worst part of Win10 is honestly the Xbox start
menu.  I hope you don't have a gag reflex because Mikeysoft will attempt to
shove that down your throat...  Most telling is that it can be disabled by
*Enterprise* customers, but not Home/Pro users.  Yeah, explain that one =)
