What model Amiga do yo have? That is going to be how much you have to expand the system to get it online. Any Amiga can run BBS software, but what you have will limit what can be done. DP> i am a bit confused with all these different types of rams as well.. :) That's a easy one! #0) Chip/Graphics Ram: All the custom chip's and the CPU have access. The amount of chip ram depends on the model of Amiga. Ie: Amiga 500 generally had 512K/1Mb of chip ram. The Amiga 2000, generally has 1Mb of Chip ram, unless a 2mb Angus chip was installed. The Amiga 3000/4000/1200 have 2mb of chip ram as standard. Fast Ram: Only the CPU has access to this ram. With more fast ram, more programs can be run. -- Stephen -- Rocking Amiganet with an Amiga 4000 and Zeus BBS. --- Zeus BBS 1.5 * Origin: -:-- Dragon's Lair --:- dragon.vk3heg.net Prt: 6800 (39:901/281.0) .
