Unless you got a compatable CRT. DP> i have a commodore 1902, i assume its compatible. The Commodore 1902 and 1902A were primarily designed for the Commodore 64/128 and Commodore PC series, and NOT for the Amiga series! They looked identicle to the Commodore 1084 and Amiga 1080/2002 monitors respectfully. But they were cheaper. In the beginning commodore used the same circuitry as the Amiga series monitors, so you could actually use the monitors with the Amiga in Analog RGB mode! for much cheaper! So which monitors do you think consumers bought for their Amigas? But Commodore soon caught on to this and crippled the monitors!! So with that said, the majority of those monitors will not work with the Amiga. Some actually have the Analog RGB switch on the back, and some do not. But the only way to see if it will work is to try them with an Amiga. SW>> What model Amiga do yo have? That is going to be how much you have to SW>> expand the system to get it online. Any Amiga can run BBS software, SW>> but what you have will limit what can be done. DP> ah sorry. i have an amiga500 That is going to limit you in what you can do... The best option will be to get a Pistorm for the A500. PiStorm is an adapter which uses a Raspberry Pi to provide a CPU accelerator (68040), RTG graphics card with high resolution modes through HDMI, hard disk interface (23MB/s), Wifi, Fast Ram (1G Pi, will give about 800Mb of fast ram, a 2gb pi will give about 1.5-1.8Gb of fast ram.) It has been designed to be installed inside Amiga 500/500+, or Amiga 2000. https://amigastore.eu/853-pistorm.html I have a Pistorm32lite in my A1200, and it's a great bit of hardware. -- Stephen -- Rocking Amiganet with an Amiga 4000 and Zeus BBS. --- Zeus BBS 1.5 * Origin: -:-- Dragon's Lair --:- dragon.vk3heg.net Prt: 6800 (39:901/281.0) .
