Subj : Re: AmiBerry To : All From : Rug Rat Date : Sat Sep 13 2025 13:23:36 The one feature of AmiBery that can not be enabled on Apple Silicone is JIT (Just In Time Compiler). I would like to see if possibly installing an ARM version of Linux and running the AmiBerry Linux Version would allow me to enable it, and what the speed difference would be. I did not have JIT enabled on the Windows version, but I am thinking it may have been a tad faster, though that could just be anecdotal. Though if I am going to go to that much trouble, I might as well just get a micro form factor Dell, and get rid of the Mac all together. Though the ONLY reason I got off the MAC is an attempt to make myself feel better about dropping 4K on a FlightSim PC.
