Sounds about right. I think I have 5000 messages in that area on Vertrauen, so 
it's possible you're missing some older ones.

Maybe it was created on multiple systems.

Sure. Over time, your database should become current and match most others that 
have their settings set the same (e.g. days before deletion of unvalidated 
entries).
