There's also Free Pascal http://www.freepascal.org/ As far as compatibility goes, I'm not sure. I've only used Delphi professionally within the past 5 years. You'd be amazed at whats written in it. The one thing I really like about Delphi 5-7 is the native code. Talk about tiny!
