We all realized the viral cesspools of death that are BALL PITS.

In all seriousness, it sounds like they got dragged down by private
equity - buying the company and leveraging debt.

And, for a 4-7 year old kid, being able to play games for a token a
piece and eat cheesy pizza while your dad watches from the sidelines was a
pretty good way of spending a weekend afternoon - I found a couple of
games I was good at that I could supplant his coupon winnings, and he'd
be so excited getting to pick a prize at the end.
