One of the nicer things I tripped over a while back was a USB Hub that has 4 ports on it, and each port has its own power switch so I can boot and then just switch on whatever I want to access, which doesn't help if you need that USB device as it's booting up. I have a mouse and keyboard attached to that, and those stay on. It's just a backup storage Flash drive that I use the switch on at the moment. (I use a full sized monitor, keyboard, etc. on my Laptop when using it at home.) That said I have had very few issues with USB connections, and I use them on a newer computer as well that doesn't have any old type USB ports, so I'm adapting between older and newer USB formats. --- þ SLMR Rob þ I'm only here for the salad bar þ Synchronet þ CAPCITY2 * Capitol City Online .
