All it took was getting off my lazy butt and communicating the issue to them. 
Only took a year or two. ;)

Very nice people over there, by the way. There was the guy that provided the 
patch, and a couple others helped test it. And Benno, while super busy with 
other things, followed along and when realized it was bug free gladly added it 
into the release versions. Now I/we won't have to ask for another working patch 
in a couple years when this one decides to stop working.
