I suppose.  Speaking for myself I am not looking for anything newfangled but 
instead just bring things up to speed, such as proper datetime stamps.  Also 
wrestling UTF-8 from the evil clutches of that corrupted, ill concieved CHRS 
kludge would be an excellent idea.

As for the 8 bit codepages who care?  Let JoHo and Dale Barnes wallow in the 
crap that the IBM/MS crowd totally screwed up over 30 years ago.  :::evil
