For his sake let us hope not.  My hope is that he does better.

That I don't know but hope to find out in the near future.  If he can figure 
out the real time clock I will be impressed.  Beyond that maybe a case that 
works for adding what the raspi people call 'hats' (the real time clock is 
mounted on a hat) then I'll be additionally impressed.

That is what I am thinking.  I am sure it will be worth the small investment 
and perhaps much greater.
