The Tsilquot'n Nation is asking BC moose hunters to forgo their
 hunts this year due to low moose populations. Many nation members
 rely on moose for food.

?In our lifetimes, moose populations have plummeted in the
 Chilcotin. Moose were once abundant, but in recent years
 T?ilhqot?in hunters are reporting too few moose on the territory
 to feed their families and communities,? said Nits?il?in (Chief)
 Joe Alphonse.
