Subj : linux shunned at election To : AUGUST ABOLINS From : Rob Mccart Date : Mon Feb 24 2025 01:07:00 AA>I thought Brave was quite well known. It seems to incorporate >many of the features that people have been seeking wrt privacy. I have tried Brave a few times and it was okay. It seems that the super protective browsers like TOR use Duck Duck Go, which I assume is similar but mostly I've used Opera for decades and they also block ads and trackers and offer a basic VPN if needed. My biggest problem is the computer I use most runs Windows 7 and Opera stopped updating on that OS a while back. Looking at the Opera Browser on my phone, where it's right up to date and easier to find, it shows 25,425 Ads blocked and 59,805 trackers blocked since I first installed it.. --- * SLMR Rob * If you can't give up sex get married and taper off * Origin: capitolcityonline.net * Telnet/SSH:2022/HTTP (1:2320/105) .
