I'd have a >> hard time wanting any of those running put in charge.. MP>Sounds like our last election. I didn't want either of the two top party >choices being put in charge, but knew no matter what I did one of them >would be. Definitely know the feeling, although they tend to give us more political parties in Canada to choose from, sometimes 5 or 6 but only the top 3 usually have much chance of gaining enough power to do anything, and really, it's more just the top 2. Our Liberals and Conservatives who are like your Democrats and Republicans. All the talking we are doing about Trump doesn't mean we were all that happy with Trudeau. He seems a nice guy but tends to cave in to every minority group that wants something, and that something is almost always expressed in dollars. His other cave in was to increased immigration which caused a housing shortage and was a big part of the rising cost of housing in Canada. He was likely elected because his father Pierre Elliot Trudeau was Prime Minister here for over 15 years from 1968 to 1984. As I recall it, his father was a tougher politician than he is.. Speaking of immigration.. I hear Trump is offering to move people to the front of the waiting line to get into the USA if they pay $5 Million to get there.. --- * SLMR Rob * I didn't wake up Grouchy today...
