Yes, I was thinking it's easy enough to switch to something else and get a new SIM card but not if they have a good reason to stay with the plan they had. I've often worndered why phone companies don't decide if a call is to the USA or not based on where you are calling to/from rather than your plan, but I suppose it's to do with cooperation between companies more than actual location. RM> I'm surprised I don't have more problems.. The phone line is above RM> ground and looks to be in terrible condition and I'm probably RM> close to 2 miles from the Bell Box. To clarify, only the line to RM> my house is ratty. AA>It's probably getting a good chance to dry out faster than if >it were underground. But mine doesn't act up while it's raining either.. B) RM> Seems to me a while back when they worked on mine it had RM> to do with ground wires at my house. If I recall, there were two of RM> them and he ended up cutting one of them to fix things. AA>I think one cable like that has 4 pairs (tip-ring) to work with >as substitutes before they have to replace the whole cable. It appeared that there were 2 ground lines hooked up at the same time and for some reason one of them was causing line noise. --- * SLMR Rob * All reports are in.
