My school had Typing classes but they were geared toward secretaries - so even the first class probably wouldn't have been too useful for me. But they had a special class called "Personal Typing" which was geared toward those of us who needed to know how to type, but would not be secretaries. We need more classes like that but in other subjects. Accounting. Economics. Side note: With all the practice that I got programming through high school, by the end of my senior year, I could out-type the ladies in the regular Typing classes. ....
