None of my relatives ever had more than > feeling a bit under the weather for a day or two after the vaccine > and none caught Covid. My extended family had a slightly different experience. A couple of us stayed up to date on our shots *and* also continued to take the other precautions. Knock on wood, we still have not had it. The others got their shots, spent a lot more time belittling those who didn't, and also seemed to think the shots meant they could let their guard down. They did things like travel by plane and intentionally putting themselves into other social situations where distancing would not be observed or even possible. They all got COVID. I think the shots work, provided that you also stay smart about things. > No vaccine ever released had zero people who had a bad reaction to > them, including deaths, not when you're talking millions of varied > people, but the anti-vaxxers will make sure that those who do have > a bad reaction possibly caused by the vaccine will make absolutely > sure it gets, if not on the news, at least on all the conspiracy > web sites and blogs..
