Subj : measurements To : Dale Shipp From : Ruth Haffly Date : Thu Jul 21 2022 14:19:38 Hi Dale, RH> We grill a lot or use the microwave and toaster ovens. But, I'll have RH> to use the big oven this week; Steve stopped at a grocery store on his RH> way home from the VA today. He picked up some fruit, including a box of RH> strawberries and made a request for strawberry pound cake. Will do. I RH> made one for a picnic at Shipps a few years ago; I'm pretty sure Dale RH> put the recipe into MM. It's yummy. (G) DS> If I did put it into MM, I could not find it just now. Looking for DS> title of "strawberry pound". If it helps the search, I baked it in your 10" cast iron fry pan. We were in Lowe's (hardware), ready to check out and saw the cover of a cast iron cook book (magazine) with the cake featured on the front cover. It looked so good we bought the book, have made the pound cake several times since. I'm thinking of trying it with blueberries or peaches; it would probably be just as good. DS> Title: Scallop Pineapple (Norma) DS> Categories: Dessert, Side dish, Easy DS> Yield: 6 Servings DS> 1/2 c Butter DS> 1 c Sugar DS> 3 lg Eggs DS> 1/2 ts Salt DS> 1 ts Vanilla DS> 1/2 c Milk DS> 20 oz Can Crushed Pinneapple DS> -drained DS> 4 c Bread cubes (4 slices) DS> 2 tb Butter for topping DS> NOTE: Use white bread, leave crusts on.
