And the only permit is the blue and white (for permanent) or red and white (temporary) hanger. or a wheelchair symbol on the licence plate. Also D.A.V. plates. I have called the nabs more than once on people violating the intended use for handicapped spots. Usually after I have mentioned to them that their placard is not displayed and they give me a bushel of attitude. And the cops/traffic wardens here don't just write a ticket to the owner of the licence plates. They issue the ticket to the driver - who usually screams like a wounded eagle and claims discrimination. Which works not at all since many of the nabs are of the same ethnicity as the violator.
