MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Harvard Beets Categories: Vegetables Yield: 7 Servings 3 c Sliced raw beets 1/2 c Sugar 1 tb All-purpose flour 1/2 c White vinegar 1/2 ts Salt 2 tb Butter In a saucepan, place raw beets and enough water to cover. Cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain, reserving 1/4 cup liquid. In another saucepan, combine sugar, flour, vinegar and reserved beet juice. Cook over low heat until thickened.
