MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Bran Bannock
 Categories: Canadian, Quickbreads
      Yield: 8 servings

      2 c  Flour
      1 c  Bran
      1 ts Salt
      1 ts Soda
    1/2 ts Cream of tartar
      1 c  Sour milk
      1 tb Melted shortening

  Mix dry ingredients, add the melted shortening, then sour milk.
  Pour into a greased baking pan and bake in a moderate oven about
  40 minutes.
