Subj : 10/20 Brandied Fruit - 4 To : All From : Dave Drum Date : Tue Oct 18 2022 16:34:00 October 20 - National Brandied Fruit Day MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Meatballs w/Brandied Peach Sauce Categories: Beef, Dairy, Fruits, Booze, Vegetables Yield: 6 Servings 2 lb Ground beef 3/4 c Milk 1/2 c Bread crumbs 1 tb Worcestershire sauce 1 1/2 ts Salt 1 ts Garlic powder 1/4 ts (ea) nutmeg, ginger 1/8 ts Pepper 1/4 ts Hot pepper sauce 2 tb Oil MMMMM--------------------BRANDIED PEACH SAUCE------------------------- 18 oz Jar peach preserves 3/4 c Light brown sugar 1/2 c Brandy 1/2 c Peach brandy 1/4 ts Nutmeg 1 tb Cornstarch (opt) Blend beef, milk, crumbs and seasonings in bowl. Shape mixture into 1 1/2" to 2" balls. In large skillet brown meatballs. Remove and keep warm. Lower heat and add peach sauce to meat drippings. Simmer 10 minutes. Add meatballs to sauce and coat thoroughly. Cover and simmer 45 to 60 minutes. Transfer meatballs to chafing dish. If needed blend cornstarch and 1 tablespoon water.
