MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: Instant Pot Keema (ground beef) Categories: Tested, Easy, Insta-pot Yield: 4 Servings 2 tb Peanut oil 1 ea Onion, finely diced 4 ts Minced garlic 1 ts Minced ginger 1 ea Serrano pepper of green Chili minced.(Used one Red Thai pepper and seeds MMMMM---------------------------SPICES-------------------------------- 1/2 tb Mild madras curry powder 1 tb Coriander powder 1 ts Paprika 1 ts Salt 1/2 ts Black pepper 1/2 ts Ground cumin 1/2 ts Garam masala 1/2 ts Tumeric 1/4 ts Cayenne 1/4 ts Ground cardamom MMMMM----------------------------MEAT--------------------------------- 1 lb Ground beef 1 cn 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes Undrained 2 c Fresh or frozen peas Press saute button. Add oil and onions and stir fry for 8 to 10 minutes or until onions begin to brown. Add garlic, ginger, Hot pepper and spices to the pot. Stir fry for 30 seconds then add ground meat and cook until it is mostly browned. Add the diced tomatoes and peas and mix well. Secure the lid, close the pressure valve and cook for 10 minutes at high pressure. Open the valve to quick release any remaining pressure. Press the saute button to reduce or boil off any extra liquid if needed. Garnish with cilantro if desired. Served over steamed rice.
