The exact date will be lost to history, but he will observe Jan 2 as his birthday. He'll go on to teach biochemistry at Boston University. During his lifetime, Asimov was considered one of the "Big Three" science fiction writers, along with Robert A. Heinlein and Arthur C. Clarke. A prolific writer, he wrote or edited more than 500 books. He also wrote an estimated 90,000 letters and postcards. Best known for his hard science fiction, Asimov also wrote mysteries and fantasy, as well as much nonfiction. MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Robot Biscuits Categories: Cookies, Fruits, Novelty Yield: 12 servings 250 g Butter 1 c Icing sugar 2 Extra large eggs 1/2 c Oil 1 tb Vanilla essence 1 c Maizena (corn flour) 2 ts Baking powder 2 c A-P Flour; as needed Apricot Jam Red & green food colouring Cream butter & sugar. Beat in eggs, then oil and vanilla. Beat in baking powder & maizena (corn flour). Add flour as needed to make a very soft dough. Using a #6 star tip biscuit nozzle, push the dough onto a greased biscuit tray. Nozzle 3 stars/flowers next to each other in a straight line, forming one biscuit. Bake in a 160ºC/320ºF oven for 15 min. Allow to cool and harden. Separate jam into 3 bowls. Leave one plain, one red and one green.
