18 February 1930 - PLUTO IS FIRST SPOTTED: Clyde Tombaugh, a 23-year-old
astronomer at Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, Arizona, finds "Planet X"
with the help of a blink microscope. The immensely far-off object will
be called Pluto, but will be stripped of its planetary status in 2006
and reclassified as merely a "dwarf planet."

      Title: Pluto Pizza Dogs
 Categories: Five, Beef, Cheese, Sauces, Breads
      Yield: 8 servings

      8    All beef hot dogs
    1/2 c  Pizza sauce
      8    Hot dog buns; split
      4 oz Shredded mozzarella cheese
      4 md Green onions; sliced, opt

  Heat coals or gas grill. Cut crosswise diagonal slashes
  1/2" apart and 1/4" deep in each hot dog. Heat pizza
  sauce until hot; keep warm.

  Grill hot dogs uncovered 4" to 6" from medium heat 10 to
  15 minutes, turning frequently, until hot and slashes
  begin to open.

  Serve hot dogs on buns. Top with pizza sauce, cheese and
  onions.
