28 february 1983 - 'M*A*S*H' FINALE AIRS TO RECORD-SMASHING RATINGS
Nearly 106 million viewers, or 77 percent of the American TV-watching
public, tune in to the last episode of the beloved series 'M*A*S*H.'
After 11 seasons, the television show about a US Army medical unit
serving in the Korean War lasted longer than the war itself.

The 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital is stuck in the middle of the
Korean War. With little help from the circumstance in which they find
themselves, they are forced to make their own fun. Fond of practical
jokes and revenge, the doctors, nurses, administrators, and soldiers
often find ways of making wartime life bearable. Nevertheless, the war
goes on.

      Title: Hawkeye's Pork Roast
 Categories: Five, Pork, Vegetables
      Yield: 6 servings

      3 lb Boneless pork roast
      2 tb Onion powder
      2 tb Garlic powder
      1 tb Ground black pepper

  Set the oven to 350ºF/175ºC.

  Season the roast evenly with the onion and garlic
  powders as well as the black pepper. Place on a rack
  in a roasting pan and pop into the oven.

  Roast for about 90 minutes, until the pork is no
  longer pink in the center. If using a thermemeter it
  should read 145ºF/63ºC at the center of the roast.

  Slice and serve with gravy made from the dripping and
  M*A*S*Hed potatoes.
