Hi Dale,

Trouble is, next meal was usually breakfast which was just a bowl of
cold cereal and a slice of bread with jelly, orange juice and milk.
Lunch wasn't usually much more cooking than that either. Also, as the
oldest, I was expected to do the cooking--would not have let some of the
younger siblings near the stove. The sister below me baked cookies and
simple (cake) desserts but the youngest sister and younger brother
didn't do any. Thankfully, older brother had a job away from home for
the summer so his criticisms only came on week ends.

 DS> We got a 4 lb corned beef on sale for $2.49 per pound (flat cut).
 DS> Point cuts were a $1 cheaper, but we don't care for them.  Gail
 will DS> do it for St. Patricks day on the 17th.  Probably stove top

Sounds good, we may stop over at Wegman's tomorrow and see what we can
pick up on sale.
