The power plant, just 10 miles from the state capital, is stabilized before complete meltdown. The accident will swell anti-nuclear sentiment in the public. The accident began with failures in the non-nuclear secondary system followed by a stuck-open pilot-operated relief valve (PORV) in the primary system that allowed large amounts of nuclear reactor coolant to escape. The mechanical failures were compounded by the initial failure of plant operators to recognize the situation as a loss-of-coolant accident (LOCA). TMI training and procedures left operators and management ill-prepared for the deteriorating situation. During the event, these inadequacies were compounded by design flaws, including inconveniently arranged instruments and controls, the use of multiple similar alarms, and a failure of the equipment to clearly indicate coolant inventory level or the position of the stuck-open PORV MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Atomic Buffalo Turds Categories: Five, Appetisers, Chilies, Cheese Yield: 12 Servings 6 lg Fresh jalapenos 12 sl Streaky bacon Chipotle honey 12 sl Brie BBQ dry rub Cut the chilies in half lengthways Remove the seeds and placenta from each chile. Spoon about half a tsp to 1 tsp of chipotle honey into each half chile. Top each one with a slice of brie and wrap w/bacon. If needed use a cocktail stick to hold together. Sprinkle each ABT with some dry rub and place in the fridge until ready to cook. Set your grill up for indirect cooking, aiming for a temperature of between 250ºF/121ºC and 300ºF/150ºC. If you’re running nearer 300ºF/150ºC, cook for one hour then check; nearer 250ºF/121ºC and you’ll be looking at about two hours. What you’re trying to get here is the bacon starting to crisp up before you glaze. For the glaze mix 3tb chipotle honey and 1 tb water in a pan and warm it up gently. Apply glaze to ABT’s and cook for a further 15 - 30 minutes depending on your BBQ temperature. Remove from grill and serve immediately.
