MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: American Pepper Steak Stir Fry Categories: Beef, D/g, Stirfry, Boat Yield: 4 servings 1 1/2 lb Boneless sirloin steak -MARINATE MIX 1 tb Oil 1 ts Corn Starch 1 ts Salt 1 tb Soy sauce 1/4 ts White pepper -VEGETABLES 3 sm Fresh tomatoes 1 md Onions 2 md Green peppers -SAUCE MIX 1 cn Beef Broth (Undiluted) 2 tb Corn Starch 2 tb Soy sauce 1 ts Sugar Trim fat from beef; cut beef along grain into 2 inch strips. Cut strips now across grain into 1/8 inch wide slices. In bowl toss beef with marinate ingredients. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes Cut each tomato into 8 wedges. Slice green peppers into 1 inch pieces, no more that 1/4 inch thick. Cut onion into small wedges. Mix Sauce ingredients: beef broth, corn starch, soy sauce and sugar. Set aside. Heat wok on Medium High until hot. Add 3 tablespoons of oil, spread around to coat pan surface. Add onion, 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger, 2 cloves minced garlic to wok. Stir fry until onions and garlic are golden brown. Add green pepper strips and stir fry. Remove Vegetables. Add 2 Tablespoon oil to wok, add beef strips and stir fry until meat is browned. Add cut up tomatoes for 1 minute, continue stirring Remove beef and tomatoes from wok. Place sauce mixture from above into wok. Heat and stir until thickened on medium high heat.
