Subj : shrinkage with age To : Dale Shipp From : Ruth Haffly Date : Sat Apr 15 2023 12:26:12 Hi Dale, SH> I'm short and have to climb into the vans at work. So I understand SH> that move! RH> I think I've shrunk a bit over the years. Noticed that when I was RH> trying to get something from the top shelf of my spice cabinet (yes, RH> I've got a whole cabinet devoted to them) a while back. Had to get the RH> little one step stool I keep in the kitchen to get the crushed red RH> pepper. I also keep a one step stool in my sewing room to get to the RH> closet shelf. DS> Shrinking as we age seems to be a universal given. I've shrunk an DS> inch and Gail perhaps two. That's where the step stools come in handy. My mom was on the short side so after she retired from the school library, she brought home (with the school's OK) the step stool she used there. It had wheels, but they locked once she put weight on the step. She used it in her kitchen but eventually traded it in for a 2 step stool with a grab bar. We've got one of the latter; good for reaching the topmost shelf in our pantry. DS> Title: Bavarian Chicken Schnitzel DS> Categories: D/g, Chicken, Boat DS> Yield: 4 servings One of our favorites--I usually bake it. I do the coatings, then put in a glass pan sprayed with non stick, spray some more on top and bake at 350 for 15 minutes or so. Works good with turkey cutlets too. --- Catch you later, Ruth rchaffly{at}earthlink{dot}net FIDO 1:396/45.28 ....
