Subj : Sourdough Biscuits To : All From : Ben Collver Date : Tue May 09 2023 12:13:02 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Sourdough Biscuits Categories: Biscuits, Sourdough Yield: 1 Batch 2 c Flour 3 ts Baking powder 1 ts Baking soda 1 ts Salt 2 tb White sugar 3/4 c Crisco; room temperature 1 3/4 c Sourdough; up to 2 c Sift flour, baking powder, soda, salt and sugar into mixing bowl. Blend in Crisco with fingertips. Stir in enough sourdough to make a soft dough. Turn out on floured board. Let "rest" for 5 minutes, to make it easier to handle. Knead very lightly. Roll about 3/4 inch thick and cut into biscuits. Bake on a greased baking sheet about 10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot with stew, sloppy joe filling, or with jam or honey. MMMMM .
