  Bananas:

  Use sliced bananas as a garnish, added just before serving. Don't mix
  them in, as they'll instantly turn to mush.

  Berries:

  Put them on top only. Cut large ones (strawberries, blackberries) in
  half.

  Raisins and dried fruits:

  On top only. Cut larger dried fruits into thin strips.
