 BC>     1/2 c  Sweet onion; chopped
 BC>      10 sl Bacon

 BC>       3 tb Vinegar
 BC>     1/3 c  Mayonnaise
 BC>     1/3 c  Sugar

Finly dice about 1/3 cup of onion (red or white) and add it, as well as
about 1/4 c sunflower seeds and about 1/3-1/2 cup of raisins.

I "have" to make this for our church pot lucks and rarely bring any
home. I usually do a triple recipe but one time when I couldn't do it,
Steve made it for me and only doubled it. He was near the end of the pot
luck line and only got a few sunflower seeds, bits of onion and raisins.

I made it for a church mission trip up to VT (before doing it for the
church as a whole). Got some groans but basically, ended up with an
almost empty bowl so now it's a mission trip standard. Our preaching
pastor at the time was one who didn't care for broccoli but the next
morning he told me that he'd called his wife the night before and told
her "you've GOT! to get that recipe". He's moved on to another church so
will not have any at this year's trip. (G)
