Subj : Dago Alley Kopy Kats - 3 To : All From : Dave Drum Date : Wed Sep 13 2023 04:45:00 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Olive Garden Zuppa Toscana Categories: Pork, Potatoes, Vegetables, Greens, Dairy Yield: 8 servings 1 lb Sweet or hot Italian sausage - links 1 lb Russet potatoes peeled, cut - in half lengthwise, then - sliced 1/4" thick 1 c Chopped onion 29 oz Chicken broth 1 qt Water 2 ts Minced garlic 1/4 c Chopped slices of bacon Salt & ground black pepper 2 c Chopped kale 1 c Heavy cream Set the oven @ 300ºF/150ºC. Place the sausages in a baking pan and roast for about 30 minutes or until cooked through. Drain sausages on paper towels and cut into slices. Saute bacon in a small skillet until the bacon has browned. Place the potatoes, onions, chicken broth, water, and garlic in a pot and cook on medium heat until potatoes are done. Add the sausage, bacon, and salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 10 minutes. Turn the heat to low. Add kale and cream. Stir to combine. Add more water, if necessary for desired consistency.
