Subj : Sinabawang Gulay (Vegetable Soup) To : All From : Ben Collver Date : Thu Feb 15 2024 11:41:22 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Sinabawang Gulay (Vegetable Soup) Categories: Filipino, Soups Yield: 3 Servings 6 Headless shrimp 2 c Fresh squash; cut into cubes 1 bn String beans; cut into - 1-1/2" length Malunggay (Moringa) leaves 1 md Onion; sliced 4 cl Garlic 1 Ginger piece; (thumb-sized) 1 tb Cooking oil 500 ml Water Prepare and clean all the ingredients on the list. In a casserole dish, heat oil, brown the garlic, add ginger and onion until the onion becomes transparent. Add shrimp, saute until the color change to orange. Set aside only the shrimp. In same casserole dish, add water, let it boil. Add a little salt, add cubed squash, cover and let it simmer for 2 minutes. Add string beans, cover and let it simmer for another 2 minutes. Add Malunggay / Moringa leaves, cover and let it simmer for 1 minute. Add shrimp, add more salt according to your desired saltness. Simmer for another 1 minute. Now serve while it's hot.
