My mom used to make it, using green tomatoes. I was thinking back today;
I think the only time she had bell peppers in the house was when she was
making the relish. She never used anything hotter than a bell in any of
her cooking; I probably used more in the first year of my marriage than
she did in her lifetime.


 RH> You would probably like the dill relish if you can find it. I like dill
 RH> pickles as a side but not in a sandwich.

 SH> I'm going to go on a hunt next weekened for this.  There's a couple of
 SH> high end grocery stores I don't normally shop at I'll check.

Hopefully you'll find something at a reasonable cost.
