I was thinking back RH> today; I think the only time she had bell peppers in the house was when RH> she was making the relish. She never used anything hotter than a bell RH> in any of her cooking; I probably used more in the first year of my RH> marriage than she did in her lifetime. SH> Just like my parents. I'm sure even today they think a bell pepper is SH> spicy. LOL I think my parents were like that, given the number of peppers we had in the kitchen when I was growing up. I do know that one of my friends is for sure a pepper wimp. While we (Steve and I, this lady and her husband) were stationed in HI, we went out for Korean food at one of these hole-in-the-wall places where you got (small plate--meat, 1 scoop rice, 2 sides, regular plate--2 scoop rice, meat, 4 sides) a mix and match meal of your choice. She asked for kim chee as one of her sides, took a bite of it and drained her drink. IIRC, her husband ate the rest of her kim chee. Steve and I both prefer cucumber kim chee over cabbage kim chee. SH> high end grocery stores I don't normally shop at I'll check. RH> Hopefully you'll find something at a reasonable cost. SH> Not even worried about the cost since it will be one jar to see how I SH> like it. :) I've seen it other places than Wegman's but that's where we do most of our grocery shopping these days. They built a store basically around the corner from where we live. --- Catch you later, Ruth rchaffly{at}earthlink{dot}net FIDO 1:396/45.28 .... gnorw og... gnorw og... gnorw og nac gnihton --- PPoint 3.01 * Origin: Sew!
