Subj : Pallipalayam Paneer To : All From : Ben Collver Date : Thu Aug 15 2024 09:51:58 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Pallipalayam Paneer Categories: Starter, Indian Yield: 3 Servings 1 c Fresh paneer cubes 1 tb Oil 5 Dried red chili; up to 6 3 tb Coconut; cut into thin -slices 1/2 ts Fennel seeds 1/2 c Onions; thinly sliced 2 ts Ginger garlic paste 2 Curry leaves; up to 3 1/2 ts Turmeric powder Salt; as needed Preparation time: 15 minutes Cooking time: 15 minutes Easy paneer starter sauted in simple spices Cut the red chili into 3 pieces (long variety) Take out the seeds. In a pan add oil and add fennel seeds and the cut red chilis. Saute for few seconds and add few curry leaves and thinly sliced small onions. Saute until the onions become translucent. Now add the ginger garlic paste and thinly sliced coconut. Mix well and saute until raw smell goes off Add salt and turmeric powder. Mix well. Add 1 cup paneer cubes. I used fresh paneer, if using frozen paneer soak in hot water for 10 minutes, drain the water and use. Mix well and cook for a minute. Switch off the flame.
