I stand corrected. My source only mentioned the first 7. But the character
was always written as a pompous twit. And as a foil for Bill Owen who was
the real star of the show. Although Marina was easy on the eyes.  Bv)=

Wesley reminded me of some actual mechanics that I have known. And Dame
Thora Hird's character was the epitome of small town church ladies. Bv)=

Prie Video. You'll probably recognise one of the main characters, Penelope
Keith from the many other BritComs she's been in. Notably "Yes, Minister"
and "Yes, Prime Minister".

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Minister's Famous Meatballs
 Categories: Beef, Breads, Herbs, Dairy
      Yield: 48 servings
 
      3 sl White bread
    1/2 c  Milk
      2 lg Eggs, slightly beaten
      1 tb Prepared horseradish
      1 ts Salt
    1/4 ts Black pepper
  1 1/2 lb Ground beef
    1/2 c  Ketchup
    1/4 c  Maple-flavored syrup
    1/4 c  Soy sauce
    1/2 ts Ground allspice
    1/2 ts Dry mustard
 
  Set oven @ 425ºF/218ºC.
  
  Coat 2 baking sheets with cooking spray.
  
  In a large bowl, soak bread in milk until soft. Stir in
  eggs, horseradish, salt, and pepper. Add beef and mix
  well. Shape into 1" meatballs and place on baking
  sheets.
  
  Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until no pink remains.
  
  Meanwhile, in a soup pot, combine the remaining
  ingredients and 1/4 cup water. Bring to a boil, stirring
  occasionally. Reduce heat to low, add meatballs, and
  simmer 5 minutes.
