      Title: Meatballs In Barbecue Sauce
 Categories: Beef, Dairy, Chilies, Vegetables, Sauces
      Yield: 4848 servings
 
      1 lg Egg; light beaten
      5 oz Xan evaporated milk
      1 c  Quick-cooking oats
    1/2 c  Fine chopped onion
      1 ts Salt
      1 ts Chilli spie mix
    1/4 ts Garlic powder
    1/4 ts Pepper
  1 1/2 lb Ground beef

      1 c  Ketchup
    3/4 c  (packed) brown sugar
    1/4 c  Chopped onion
    1/2 ts Liquid Smoke; opt
    1/4 ts Garlic powder
 
  In a large bowl, combine the first eight ingredients.
  Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into 1"
  balls.
  
  Place meatballs on a greased rack in a shallow baking
  pan. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 18-20 minutes or until
  meat is no longer pink; drain.
  
  Meanwhile, combine the sauce ingredients in a saucepan.
  Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes,
  stirring frequently. Pour over meatballs. Bake 10-12
  minutes longer.
