The kitchen area also SH> I wonder if a previous tenant smuggled it in? Or paid a whole heck of SH> a lot extra for them to allow it. I know at least one other unit (visiting with my MIL) had a stove so I presume more were working at one time. Then, as more people moved in with Althezheimer's or other dementias, the managment disconnected the stoves for safety reasons. RH> apartment for a small dining table between one side of the kitchen and RH> living room. SH> That sounds okay. It worked well for 2 people who didn't get out that much. Before they moved there, they lived in an "over 55" manufactured home community and used a golf cart to get around in it. Steve's older sister and her husband had moved there a few years before and took mom & dad for shopping, medical appointments, etc after they stopped driving. They continued chauffering them around after the move but mom & dad weren't able to get out to see friends or participate in the activities of the community where they'd lived. RH> My nearest siblings live several states north of here, takes more than RH> a day's drive. SH> Well I guess I"m lucky. Of course I can't remember the last time I SH> saw my sister in person... probably 8 years now. It's been close to that for me. SH> SH>> ... Camping (n.): See "Heat Stroke", "Mud", and "Insects". RH> I grew up camping in tents; we called anything else "cheat camping". RH> You know, I'm enjoying the way I camp now more than the tents. (G) SH> Same here. I'd never want to go back to a tent. I'd have a hard time getting up from the ground. (G) --- Catch you later, Ruth rchaffly{at}earthlink{dot}net FIDO 1:396/45.28 ....
