Subj : Fig Pudding To : All From : Ben Collver Date : Sun Jan 26 2025 13:30:25 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Fig Pudding Categories: Puddings Yield: 1 Pudding 1/4 c Butter or other fat 1/2 c Sugar 1 Egg 1 1/2 c Soft-wheat flour; sifted 2 c Dried figs; chopped 2 ts Baking powder 1/4 ts Salt 1/2 c Milk 1/2 ts Vanilla Cream the fat, add the sugar and the well-beaten egg. Take out about 2 tb of the flour and mix with the figs. Sift together the remaining flour and the baking powder and salt and add alternately with the milk to the fat and egg mixture. Stir in the flour-coated figs and add the vanilla. Bake in a greased baking dish for about 1 hour in a moderate oven (350°F).
