Yes, that trailer park is right next to a disc golf course, my favorite place to camp before the Supreme Court reversed their decision about Grants Pass. The people who live in that trailer park have formed a surprisingly strong sense of community and they collectively volunteer to keep the river bank clean in that area. Totally different from the "got mine GTFO" vibe of the newcomers who live along the "better" parts of the river. Easier to recognize the humanity in the trailer park inhabitants. I don't recall Beaverton well enough to remember 185th, but i remember Centennial Boulevard in Springfield. I seem to recall the center lane is used for bikes, busses, and pedestrians, sandwiched in between opposite flows of traffic on a busy highway. The last time i was in Astoria, it felt like a tourist town with lots of weekenders coming out from Portland to have a good time and spend their money. It was fun to watch the sea lions on the docks. There was good food and fancy coffee to be found. :-) ---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.02 Title: Park Place Punch Categories: Beverages, Diabetic Yield: 1 Serving 3/4 c Raspberry-cranberry drink 2 tb Orange juice 1 ts Lime juice 1 Club soda Pour raspberry-cranberry drink, orange juice, and lime juice in a tall glass filled with ice.
