MMMMM---------------------CHOCOLATE PUDDING--------------------------
    1/4 c  Cocoa *; plus:
      1 ts Vanilla extract

MMMMM----------------------VANILLA PUDDING---------------------------
      2 tb Vanilla extract

MMMMM------------------------PUDDING BASE-----------------------------
    1/4 c  Sugar
      3 c  Milk
      3 tb Corn starch; up to 4 tb

  Mix cocoa or vanilla, sugar, corn starch, and a bit of milk in a bowl
  and set aside.

  Note: Mixing the sugar and corn starch together well before adding
  milk helps avoid clumps.

  Heat remaining milk until it starts boiling.

  Slowly add the cocoa, sugar, and corn starch mixture.

  Keep boiling on low or medium heat for a few minutes, until it
  thickens.

  Pour into bowl and leave to cool.
