The tossing / scanning part is 100% on point though as I'm using HPT.
The reading part for sure will do strange things sometimes. :)

The homegrown binkp works for getting mail now.  I've used it to
get a packet from your place once.  I can't use it for real yet as I
haven't added checks for filenames, it will over write stuff right now. ;)
It's also insane slow, but I'm getting there.  I doubt I'll ever actually
finish it but I might!
